Account Management
How do I sign up as a Publisher?
In order to join Awin as a Publisher, please use the step-by-step sign up guide.
How do I join an Advertiser program?
In order to join a new Advertiser program, please follow the process outlined below:
- Click on the 'Advertisers' tab and select 'Join Programs'.
- Type the name of the Advertiser you want to partner with into the search box.
- Click on 'Search' - this will bring up a list of all matching possibilities.
- To view the details of an Advertiser's program, such as commission rates and Terms and Conditions, click on 'View Profile'.
- If you are happy with the selected Advertiser, click on the 'Join Advertiser' symbol under the 'Actions' column to apply to their program.
The Advertiser or their assigned Awin Account Manager will then review your application for approval. Your membership will remain pending until a decision is made. This can take up to ten business days. You can view the current status of an application by going to 'My Programs' within the 'Advertisers' drop-down menu.
Why have I been rejected from an Advertiser program?
There are usually three main reasons for an Advertiser rejection:
- The Advertiser is having trouble accessing the site you have listed
- The Advertiser does not consider your site or method of promotion to be compatible with their program
- The description provided in your account does not meet their requirements
You should aim to provide as much detail as possible regarding how you intend to work as a Publisher on your Awin account as Advertisers will be able to view these details when considering your application.
How do I change/update my account details?
Why have I been signed up to an Advertiser that I didn't apply to?
Some Advertisers operate an 'auto-approve' scheme - meaning that they accept all Publishers on to their affiliate program. If you feature the Advertiser's tracking links on your website and a User clicks through them, we will automatically join you to the Advertiser so that you can earn commission from their visit.
How do I list all my websites in my account?
You do not need to create more than one Publisher account to promote Advertisers on other websites that you may operate/manage. You can add details for all of your sites on your Publisher profile and you can categorise and describe each one in detail. This is done via the ‘Account’ tab and then selecting ‘Promotional Spaces’.

How do I get a discount code/bespoke offer for a specific Advertiser?
All general discount codes are registered in the 'My Offers' section which is available from the Toolbox section of the interface.
In some cases an Advertiser can generate a bespoke code, however, this will depend on the type of exposure you have agreed with them and the success of your previous Publisher campaigns. Advertisers will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis.
Linking Methods
How do I generate a Deep Link?
- Click on Toolbox > Links & Tools > Link Builder
- Select an Advertiser from the drop-down menu
- Paste the product page URL into the Destination URL box. This will automatically generate your Deep Link into the box below.
- Choose the Format 'HTML' or 'URL'
- Copy and paste the full code on to the source page on your site.
How do I create a 'tidd.ly' short link?
- Click 'Deep Link Builder' or 'FireAW' plug-in.
- Search for the Advertiser using the drop down menu
- Paste the product page URL into the 'Deep link URL' box on the left hand side
- This shows the complete URL you need in the large box. Copy and paste the full code onto the source page your site.
- Choose the Format 'HTML' or 'URL'
- Select 'Create Shortlink'.
Your Deep Link will now be transformed into short and tidy URL and have the domain 'tidd.ly'.
How do I add banners to my site?
- Click on Advertisers > My Programs
- Click 'My Creative' button against the Advertiser details
- Click 'Copy Code' against the banner of your choice
- Paste into the source code of your website
