Automatic feed expiry

Automatic Product Feed Expiry
For any of your product feeds, if you do not provide an updated feed file for a period of three years, the system automatically starts a countdown timer, and schedules the product feed for deletion after 90 days.
Managing Product Feed Expiry
To view a list of product feeds that are scheduled for deletion, and to manage other settings associated with your product feeds, access the My Product Feeds page. To do this, from the Awin UI home page, select Toolbox > My Product Feeds.
To prevent the system from deleting the product feed after 90 days, do one of the following:
- To retain the feed and reset the three-year expiry period, update the product feed. To do this, access the Edit Feed page and provide an updated feed file. For details, refer to Product Feed Management.
- To restart the 90-day countdown timer without updating the product feed, postpone the deletion. To do this, from the My Product Feeds page, locate the feed that you want to retain, then select Keep Feed for 90 More Days.
Note: After you postpone the deletion of a product feed, if you do not update the feed for a further 90 days, the system deletes the product feed.
Alternatively, if you no longer want to support the product feed, you can delete it immediately. To do this, from the My Product Feeds page, locate the feed that you want to delete, then click the delete icon.
Product Feed Expiry Notifications
To give you sufficient warning about product feed expiry, Awin provides the following notifications:
- UI Notifications: On the My Product Feeds page, for any feeds that are due to expire within the next 90 days, the system shows a notification. The notification contains a countdown timer and options to update the feed or postpone deletion.
- Email Notifications: The system sends automated expiry warning emails to the email address associated with your account. The system sends an email at 90 days, seven days, and one day before deletion, as well as an email that confirms deletion of the feed.
