WHY DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT ON THE AWIN PLATFORM?

On 6th of March 2017 zanox and Affiliate Window rebranded to Awin uniting both companies under one name. In order to create a unified, global affiliate network for our clients, we are migrating all programs and publishers into one single platform – the Awin platform.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH MY PROGRAM MEMBERSHIPS?

All of your program memberships will remain on your “old” zanox account. Once a program you have a partnership with migrates, the membership will automatically be replicated on to the new account(s) we have created for you.

Once a program you have a membership with migrates – you will receive an email notification. Until then, business remains as usual on the zanox Marketplace.


WILL I HAVE TO REAPPLY TO MY PROGRAMS?

No, all of your program memberships will automatically be replicated on to the new platform once they migrate to the new platform.


WHY DO I HAVE A NEW ACCOUNT IF PROGRAMS IN MY REGION WON’T MIGRATE YET?

We are commencing the migration of your Publisher Account prior to the advertiser migration, in order to give you ample time to familiarise and set up your new account on the new platform.

Additionally, you will be able to have immediate access to our UK, US, IE, CAN & FR programs across multiple verticals including retail & shopping, telco, travel and finance. In due course, new program launches will directly start on the new platform across all regions.


DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING EVEN IF I HAVE NO ACTIVE PARTNERSHIPS IN MY NEW ACCOUNT?

Yes - please make sure you complete your profile on the new platform to ensure programs are able to find you once they migrate:

  • Profile information (include short description!)
  • Bank details + VAT details (leave out the country code, e.g. “DE”, in front of the VAT number)
  • Promotional spaces (your adspaces)
  • Company Logo (include profile picture)
  • Active Sales Regions
  • Active Industries
  • Users linked to your account / correct owner
  • Primary Promotional Type (if applicable, you can add secondary promotional types). In case your primary Promotional Type is incorrect, please contact your local migration hotline (see below).


WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH MY ADSPACES?

With the arrival of the new platform, publisher accounts will no longer be split by 'ad spaces', which enables a more efficient approach to partnership development. On the new platform, publisher accounts present their 'promotional spaces', which is a list of websites and channels they use to promote advertisers on. Once a program has accepted you, you will be able to promote them on all your promotional spaces you have included in your account. In other words, an advertiser approves the publisher account - rather than an ad slot or website - and accepts to be advertised through any promotional channel the publisher has included in their account.


WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE MY TECHNICAL SETTINGS?

Some technical changes on your side are required, such as API, Product data feeds, Shared tracking and zpar/sub-ID parameter. Make sure to familiarise/reintegrate the equivalents of all your current zanox integrations on the new platform.

DO I HAVE TO CHANGE MY LINKS? WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH MY EXISTING ZANOX LINKS?

All existing zanox links will continue to be tracked for a certain period of time. As soon as a program you have a partnership with has migrated to the new platform, all corresponding stats for the migrated program will appear in your account on the new platform. To take advantage of the new features and functionalities (such as commission on assists and cross-device tracking), we recommend you start switching tracking links as soon as possible.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY PAYMENTS?

You can continue to access your credit notes as usual on the zanox Marketplace. All payments will continue to be paid out as usual. However, once a program migrates you will receive credit notes on the new platform and the payments will be transferred to the Bank details you provide on the new Awin account.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH MY STATISTICS?

All your statistics will continue to appear in the zanox Marketplace reporting. Nevertheless, once a program migrates all new stats will appear directly on the Awin reporting. Historical data won’t be transferred to the new platform.


WHEN WILL MY PROGRAMS MIGRATE?

The platform migration for programs will be completed in a phased roll-out for each territory, with the French market as the first migrated region. Benelux programs will start migrating at the end of May, Scandinavian programs during the summer, and Global programs will migrate as of June 2017. Please note the program migration will happen in a gradual manner.
