The core aim of the account management team is to provide guidance and best practice on how best to run your affiliate programme.

Successful programmes require a close relationship between network, advertiser and publisher and the account management service is designed to facilitate this and maximise all available opportunities.

Every advertiser is unique and tailoring the approach is essential to achieve the desired performance but generally, our approach is divided into three phases:


  • Technical set up
  • Programme set up
  • Developing a publisher strategy

The following areas are covered in detail:



A great emphasis is placed on advertiser training; primarily ensuring all advertisers are able to navigate and effectively use the network interface and reporting tools to their full benefit. Every two months Affiliate Window hosts an advertiser training seminar. Throughout the day, advertiser will hear presentations on various areas of performance marketing including:

  • Using Affiliate Window Effectively – demonstrating how to use the advertiser interface to successfully run your programme
  • Publishers and How to Engage Them – understanding the different types of publishers and promotional methods employed
  • Strategies for Working with Incentivised Traffic – how to work more effectively with key publishers
  • Guest speakers: The Voice of Experience - learn from the experiences of advertiser and publisher guest speakers
  • Q & A Session - to end the seminar, a panel including key Affiliate Window staff and external guest speakers will answer your questions

All new advertisers will receive one complimentary place at an advertiser training seminar when they join Digital Window. Any additional places will be charged at £200 + VAT. This fee goes towards the cost of conference room hire, catering, staffing and stationary on the day. To find out more, please email our events team.

As an extension of the advertiser training day, the account management team will also play a role in devising and hosting ad hoc interactive events as part of the AWin Academy training scheme.

The account management team also advise on industry best practice, actively encouraging all advertisers to run their programmes in a fair and ethical manner.

To fully benefit from the service, advertisers are encouraged to dedicate a minimum of 8-15 hours per week to running their affiliate programme.
