Traffic Light Payment System

The traffic light system operates as follows:

  • Green - Includes programmes offering accelerated payments. Approved commissions will be paid to Publishers directly with their next payment.
  • Amber - This Advertiser is set to restricted payment terms. Publishers will be paid for Advertiser commissions only when payment for the corresponding invoice has been received by Awin.

Advertisers who have an Amber status are further categorised, as follows:-

  • Exposure Level 1 - An Advertiser who has currently exceeded their credit limit, but pays Awin via Direct Debit
  • Exposure Level 2 - An Advertiser who has currently exceeded their credit limit, but do not pay Awin by Direct Debit or where the affiliate programme is closed
  • Exposure Level 3 - An Advertiser who is operating within their credit limit but have currently exceeded settlement terms
  • Exposure Level 4 - An Advertiser who has both exceeded their credit limit and also settlement terms
  • Exposure Level 5 - An Advertiser who has currently exceeded their prepayment balance
  • Exposure Level 6 - An Advertiser who has both exceeded their prepayment balance and also settlement terms
  • Red - This Advertiser has severely restricted invoice terms and overdue payments with Awin. Publishers will be paid for Advertiser commissions only when payment for the corresponding invoice, and the other outstanding invoices, have been received by Awin. The Network would recommend Publishers do not promote Advertisers who are set to this status.
